Culmia has acquired a residential plot of land from Aliseda in Sanxenxo, in the province of Pontevedra, where it plans to develop 118 homes with an investment of €65 million.
The plot, situated in A Granxa, in the parish of Dorrón, covers an area of 19,672 sqm and has a buildable area of 12,874 sqm. The future development will combine 50 terraced homes of various types with a further 68 multi-family units, in a location close to the beaches of Pampaido and Agra and overlooking the Pontevedra estuary.
Sales are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 via Excent, Aliseda’s new-build platform, while construction is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2027 and handover is due by the end of 2029.
The development has had its town planning and management approved, although the infrastructure works are still underway and will not be completed until the second quarter of 2028. Authorisation to carry out this work simultaneously with the construction of the homes will enable the planned schedule to be maintained.
The project expands Culmia’s residential operations in Galicia, where it has an office in A Coruña and is currently developing three active projects. In Sanxenxo, it is currently building 76 homes in Portonovo, while in Pontevedra it is developing a 45-unit project due for handover in September and is preparing another project of the same size, with an investment of €15 million, in the city centre.
