CONCOVI is set to launch a development of 53 single-family homes under a cooperative scheme in Vera, Almería, following the completion of the land purchase agreement by ADU Asesores, a management company approved by the confederation.
The project, known as Residencial El Marqués, will be built on a plot situated at Avenida Palomares N2-2 – Casa Marqués, near the beaches of Vera, and is expected to require an investment of around €30 million. The development will consist of semi-detached and detached houses, which will be sold on a cooperative basis at cost price.
Following the formalisation of the purchase agreement, a process will be launched to enrol interested parties in order to gauge demand prior to the project’s development and allow future members to join from the earliest stages of the development.
The residential development will feature Mediterranean-style homes, terraces, gardens and communal areas with a communal swimming pool, landscaped areas and children’s play areas. According to the information provided, the development will be a private complex situated near the Almería coastline.
CONCOVI will support the development of the project as the representative body for housing cooperatives, while ADU Asesores will manage the project through its technical team. Demand will be channelled via the COOPEROPEN, COOPERALQUILA, OIKO and SERFICOOP platforms, which are linked to CONCOVI’s Register of Housing and Land Applicants. These platforms will facilitate access for interested parties and coordinate technical and financial resources during the self-build process.
