The real estate developer Brosh, which specialises in the comprehensive development of residential projects, continues to make progress in the implementation of its 2023-2026 strategic plan with a special focus on Catalonia. In this territory, the company plans to triple its development activity by acquiring residential land for more than 40 million euros, an operation channelled through its cooperative management company Gesbró.
The aim of this plan, according to the company, is to consolidate its activity in key markets and take advantage of the new real estate cycle to promote residential developments aligned with criteria of sustainability, energy efficiency and affordability.
‘This plan marks the beginning of a new stage of growth for Gesbró and Brosh in Catalonia, where we want to play a more important role in promoting urban development,’ said Jonathan Nuñez, Gesbró's northern territorial director. ‘Our aim is not to grow for the sake of growing, but to ensure that our work contributes to improving the environment in which we work, and, with this, to providing society with access to decent and affordable housing, without sacrificing quality or design,’ he adds.
Brosh is currently developing 256 homes in Viladecans (Barcelona) and, in parallel, is making progress in identifying and purchasing land in other Catalan municipalities. Among the operations already formalised, the acquisition of land in the La Marina - El Prat Vermell sector in Barcelona stands out, where the construction of 400 homes is planned in collaboration with the City Council. This intervention represents one of the company's most important projects in the Catalan capital.
Gesbró has also begun marketing a subsidised housing development in Parc de l'Alba, in Cerdanyola del Vallès. This is the Diverso Parc de l'Alba project, which will provide access to affordable housing for young people and families in an area with high economic projection within the metropolitan area of Barcelona.
With these actions, Brosh aims to consolidate its position as a major player in the Catalan residential market through a model based on urban regeneration, energy efficiency and access to housing.
