Avintia wins a project in Tres Cantos for 184 affordable rental homes

Avintia Inmobiliaria has acquired a plot of land in the AR Nuevo Tres Cantos sector, in the Madrid municipality of Tres Cantos, to develop a development of 184 limited-price public housing units (VPPL) for rent

In accordance with current regional regulations, the homes may be used for subsidised rental for a period of 15 years. The project is currently in the drafting phase and the company plans to apply for a licence in the second quarter of 2026.

The complex, designed by TdB Arquitectura, will be built on a 18,789.57 sqm plot and will consist of four residential blocks. The programme includes 16 one-bedroom homes, 72 two-bedroom homes — eight of which will be adapted — and 96 three-bedroom homes. It will also have 184 storage rooms and 240 parking spaces.

The development will be carried out using the ávita industrialised system, developed by Grupo Avintia. According to the company, this model reduces construction and delivery times by 30%, construction waste by up to 75%, water consumption by 20%, the use of raw materials and concrete by up to 50%, noise pollution by 50% and CO2 emissions by 40%.

The project also incorporates landscape integration measures, with low-water-consumption native vegetation and an open space layout that includes wooded areas, areas connecting buildings, and a recreational and sports area, in an environment close to the river ecosystem of the area.
