The Basque company Atom Modular has brought 360 Soluciones Cambio Climático on board as an investor to increase its production capacity for industrialised housing modules. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed.
The financing has been arranged through ATOM-P1, a tokenised participatory loan whose return will be linked to the company’s performance. Urban Token Investments was responsible for designing and structuring the financial instrument, as well as providing the technological infrastructure.
Based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Atom Modular develops off-site 3D volumetric systems, a method that forms part of what are known as modern construction methods (MMC). The process combines BIM methodology, industrial standardisation and materials with low environmental impact.
The funds will be used to increase manufacturing capacity and drive the development of modular solutions linked to the circular economy. The transaction also marks the entry of 360 Soluciones Cambio Climático into the share capital of a project related to industrialised construction, a sector to which the environmental engineering firm is now extending its investment activities.
