ASPRIMA plays a leading role in solving Madrid's housing problem

The Association of Real Estate Developers of Madrid - ASPRIMA, has been present at two conferences organized by different political organizations, as a sign of its leading role in addressing the solution to the housing problem in Madrid.

The conference organized by the Municipal Group of the Popular Party, Challenges and solutions to the housing problem in Madrid, had the participation of Carolina Roca, president of ASPRIMA, in the round table discussion "The housing problem has a solution". During her speech, Carolina highlighted the shock measures promoted by the Regional Housing Pact of the Community of Madrid, in addition to the structural changes resulting from the new Land Law, the new General Planning, and the new Housing Regulation.

Carolina Roca also took the opportunity to thank the collaboration and support shown by the Trinity project launched by ASPRIMA, which aims to expose to investors the reasons why the Community of Madrid is the most attractive place in Europe to invest in the production of housing.

The deputy secretary of sectorial of the PP madrileño and deputy mayor of the capital, Inma Sanz, has stressed during her opening speech that “the vision on housing of the Popular Party is based on the principles of ownership and freedom and is family-oriented; our obligation is to implement sensible policies, based on the principles we defend and on the knowledge accumulated by the real estate and construction sector, as opposed to the ideological vision of the left, which distrusts freedom and sees property as a privilege.

Additionally, Sanz has stressed that “Community and City Council have openly said that this must be the legislature of housing”. Therefore, in the specific case of the City Council, “we have placed housing as the top priority of the mandate, with the goal of building 12,000 units” and “the boost to the urban developments unblocked since Almeida is mayor will allow to build more than 200.000 homes, which will house half a million people” and for which “the role of the Community will be crucial to its success”.

The event organized by the Municipal Group Más Madrid, on the occasion of the presentation of its report 'Madrid, ciudad tensionada - An analysis and diagnosis for the formulation of policies', has counted with the participation of Mariam Martín Ferrero, president of the Housing Commission of ASPRIMA. During her speech, Mariam highlighted the value of the report prepared by the Association, "El problema de la vivienda sí tiene solución", which sets out the six main measures to increase affordable housing, from the point of view of ASPRIMA.
