A&G Global Investors has announced the launch of A&G Living Investments II, FCR, a new fund registered with the CNMV that reinforces its commitment to the Spanish residential market. This investment vehicle seeks to address the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities in the sector in a context marked by a shortage of supply and growing demand for housing solutions.
The fund's strategy focuses on investing in companies that develop and operate residential assets adapted to the new market dynamics. These include traditional products, student residences, flexible solutions such as flex living and coliving, as well as assets designed for people in advanced stages of life.
The investment programme envisages analysing deals of between €20 million and €35 million, with an overall target of more than €250 million over the next three years. To this end, A&G will work with partners specialised in both the development and operational management of the assets.
Jaime Trigo, head of real estate investment at A&G Global Investors, explains: "The mismatch in the Spanish market offers unique opportunities for experienced managers. This fund is designed to identify and structure deals that create value for both our investors and the Spanish real estate market".
With over €1 billion under management in assets related to this theme, the A&G team brings a strong track record in the sector. Alejandro Núñez, head of alternative investments, says: ‘The launch of A&G Living Investments II reflects our confidence in market fundamentals and our ability to generate value in a competitive environment.’
