The Uber headquarters building, located on Avenida Barbosa du Bocage in Lisbon, was acquired by the Portuguese fund VIP, managed by Silvip, for 18 million euros.
The seven-story building, with a total area of 3,600 square meters, belonged to the joint venture between Finangeste and Patron Capital, according to Negócios. The Portuguese company and the pan-European real estate fund Patron Capital bought this office building from Tranquilidade in 2019. The building was refurbished by the joint venture – a work that cost more than 6 million euros – as it was very degraded, according to an official source from Finangeste, cited by Negócios.
Uber, which has been in the building since 2021, leasing the property until 2024, expressed an interest in occupying it for a longer period of time.
