Swiss Life invests in the office sector in Barcelona. It has done so through one of its funds dedicated to the French insurance group Maif. Specifically, the company has acquired a building, previously dedicated to the industrial sector, on Lacuna Street, in the 22 @ district.
The property has a gross leasable area (GLA) of more than 4,700 sqm and was completely renovated in 2006. It is distributed over two floors and includes 62 parking spaces.
“We are proud to have completed the acquisition of this office building in Barcelona, the first in Spain for our client,” says Fabrice Lombardo, Director of Real Estate at Swiss Life AM. The operation has been advised by JLL.
