Saint Croix has secured the full let of the office building at Julián Camarillo 19, in Madrid, to Healthcademia, a company specialising in the training of healthcare professionals. The transaction, advised by Colliers, comprises 4,958 sqm of gross floor area.
The property, comprising a ground floor and five above-ground floors, was formerly a hotel and was subsequently converted into offices following a comprehensive refurbishment. The asset holds LEED Gold certification, features open-plan floors with areas exceeding 1,000 sqm per floor, a 150 sqm rooftop, 173 parking spaces, bicycle parking and electric charging points.
Healthcademia will establish its future campus, its headquarters and an educational centre focused on training healthcare professionals within the building. The property’s location, on the Julián Camarillo axis, provides access to the M-30, the M-40, the A-2, the airport and the public transport network.
The transaction comes at a time when the education sector is becoming increasingly prominent in Madrid’s office market. During the first quarter of 2026, companies linked to the training sector accounted for 28.5% of the total office space let and were involved in the two largest transactions of the period. Furthermore, four of the ten largest office leases recorded between January and March were in this sector.
The area around Julián Camarillo is home to educational institutions such as Alfonso X El Sabio University, CEAC, Linkia, CCC and Medac, amongst others, a concentration that has increased the area’s importance as a location for training centres.
