Merlin Properties strengthens its presence in Azca with the acquisition of the Serantes Building from El Corte Inglés. It is a 2,400 square metre building for which it has paid around €11 million, according to Cinco Días and El Confidencial.
The building purchased from El Corte Inglés is the building adjacent to the one that the socimi has at number 11 Pablo Ruiz Picasso street, the Solube building. It consists of a set of three buildings joined together, totalling 32,750 square metres of office and commercial use, which is undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment.
Thanks to this transaction, Merlin controls four buildings in Azca. In addition to the recently acquired Serantes and Solube, Merlin owns the offices at Castellana 83-85 and Castellana 93.
