IONIK Technologies will relocate its Malaga operations to the Ágora building, where it has leased an entire floor of approximately 1,800 sqm with the aim of consolidating its two existing offices in the city into a single space. Savills advised on the transaction.
The property, owned by Grupo Insur, is the first new-generation office project to be developed in Malaga in more than 15 years. It is located on the west coast of the city, within the new Prime area, and is scheduled for completion in January 2026.
The Ágora building has more than 9,000 sqm of leasable space distributed over six floors of offices, as well as a commercial premises for catering and a rooftop terrace designed for hosting events. The project incorporates BREEAM, WELL and WIRESCORED certifications. According to market data, office availability in the Prime-CBD district is below 3%.
Aranzazu García, Head of Offices at Savills Andalucía, pointed out that over the last decade, Malaga has consolidated its position as a European technology hub, with demand for offices driven mainly by companies in the technology sector with an international presence.
With this operation, IONIK is centralising its activity in Malaga in a single location, in a context of growth in the office market linked to the development of the city's technology ecosystem.
