Grupo Insur has finalised the lease of approximately 3,000 sqm in the Ágora building in Malaga to Betsson Group, an international online casino and sports betting operator. Savills advised on the transaction.
The leased space is distributed between the fourth and fifth floors of the building. The fifth floor will have a terrace with sea views for the exclusive use of the company. The building is in the final stages of construction and, according to the parties involved, is the first office building to be built in the city in the last 15 years.
With this transaction, Betsson will establish its first office in Spain in Malaga. The Ágora building will thus add a technology and digital company to its portfolio of tenants.
Aránzazu García, head of offices at Savills Andalucía, pointed out that the transaction comes at a time of high activity in the Málaga office market, driven by active demand and the consolidation of the western coastline as a new prime area of the city.
