The socimi Domo Activos has informed BME Growth of the sale of a building located at Calle Cavanilles 58 in Madrid to the German fund Global Realty Capital (GRC).
The asset, sold for €17 million, was acquired by Domo in October 2020 for €14.1 million, leaving the socimi with a capital gain of almost €3 million.
The property has a gross lettable area (GLA) of approximately 7,500 square metres, and was recently renovated by Domo Activos. Its purchase by Global Realty Capital is part of a larger project, which includes other buildings and plots of land in the surrounding area. The German fund plans to develop 216 homes on the site.
Domo Activos is managed by Stoneshield Investments, and 20% of the socimi is controlled by Mistral Iberia, a company through which some famous footballers and ex-footballers such as Fernando Lorente, Juan Mata and José Salomón Rondón invest.
