Talus Real Estate, a real estate investment platform with more than 1.7 billion euros in assets under management, has signed a lease agreement with GXO Logistics for a 35,342 sqm logistics centre located in the Polígono Industrial Mediterráneo, in Albuixech (Valencia).
With this operation, Talus leases 100% of its logistics centre, consolidating its position in the development and management of strategic logistics assets in Spain.
GXO Logistics, a company dedicated exclusively to logistics contracts and specialised in e-commerce, automation and outsourcing, will exclusively manage the centre's distribution, repacking and repalletisation operations for a client in the household appliance sector. According to the company, this collaboration will improve the efficiency and operational capacity of both parties.
Pablo Medina, investment director at Talus Real Estate, said: "This transaction is of great significance for Talus Real Estate. It is a source of great satisfaction for our team to be able to supply this first class space to a company that is leading the transformation towards advanced logistics solutions. This agreement confirms the strategic value of this centre and its ideal location".
The logistics centre has quality, efficiency and sustainability standards that meet the requirements of today's market. It is located 9 kilometres from Valencia, with direct access to the old Autovía de Barcelona (now V-21) and the CV-32 road with connection to the Bypass (E-15/A-7).
This transaction is part of Talus Real Estate's strategy to invest in key markets such as Valencia, Madrid and Catalonia, where the demand for first generation real estate assets continues to outstrip the available supply.
