Panattoni has completed the lease of a 12,500 sqm warehouse at Panattoni Park Valongo, in northern Portugal, in what is the largest logistics leasing transaction concluded in the Porto region in 2026.
Completed in June, the deal was advised by Cushman & Wakefield, acting on behalf of the developer, while the Portuguese occupier remains undisclosed at its own request.
The scheme comprises two buildings with a total gross leasable area of around 76,000 sqm, developed on a 150,000 sqm site. Designed for logistics and industrial occupiers, the park offers flexible warehouse space, approximately 11-metre clear heights, extensive loading areas and efficient circulation layouts.
Panattoni Park Valongo has achieved a BREEAM Very Good certification and benefits from direct access to the A41 motorway, with close connections to the A4, providing links to Portugal's main national and international transport corridors.
Arantxa Prado, Managing Director of Panattoni Iberia, said the agreement highlights the sustained appetite for modern industrial and logistics facilities in Portugal and reinforces the appeal of Panattoni Park Valongo's location and specifications.
Francisco Quintanilho, Senior Consultant in the Industrial & Logistics department at Cushman & Wakefield, added that the transaction reflects the strong momentum of Portugal's logistics market, particularly in the Greater Porto area, where demand for high-quality assets continues to support occupier activity.
