Newdock has completed the leasing of its logistics park in Arroyomolinos, Madrid, after letting the remaining 22,000 sqm to Grupo Europan and Construcciones Ruesma, bringing the complex to 100% occupancy.
Bakery products distributor Grupo Europan will occupy 13,500 sqm, while construction company Construcciones Ruesma will take the remaining 8,500 sqm. Both units combine storage and distribution areas with offices, allowing the spaces to accommodate logistics operations and internal business activities.
The park comprises four buildings across two plots, providing 39,000 sqm of built space next to the M-50 and A-5, two key transport routes in the south-west of the Madrid region. The asset features a photovoltaic installation and holds LEED Platinum certification, while its office areas have been designed to seek WELL certification.
Newdock's portfolio comprises close to 900,000 sqm of logistics space across Spain, France and Italy. In Spain, the company has developed ten projects with a combined capacity of more than 550,000 sqm, of which around 425,000 sqm are completed and operational.
The platform also has developments underway in Madrid and Valencia, where it has completed the first phase of its logistics park in Loriguilla. The first phase provides nearly 75,000 sqm, with the overall complex expected to reach approximately 150,000 sqm upon completion.
