The Socimi Ibi Lion has acquired the entire logistics complex located in the Júndiz industrial estate, in Vitoria for €27.1 million – which is currently leased to the Eroski supermarket chain – using a combination of third-party financing and its own funds.
Legal advice on the transaction was provided by Uría Menéndez, Cuatrecasas and KPMG, while technical advice was provided by Arcadis.
This new asset joins the Socimi’s portfolio in a well-connected location with significant potential for demand, reinforcing the company’s commitment to investing in high-quality properties in Spain.
Over the last few months, the Socimi has demonstrated its interest in expanding and diversifying its portfolio. In February, IBI Lion Socimi has acquired a retail asset in Gijón for €4.7 million through its subsidiary IBI Lion Lavie. In January, the company, through Ibi Lion Project Clouded Leopard, has purchased a logistics asset located in the Villalonquéjar Industrial Estate in Burgos for around €25 million.
