Panattoni has finalised the lease of 6,400 sqm to DHL in phase II of Panattoni Park Vitoria-Gasteiz, representing full occupancy of the 13,000 sqm developed in this stage. Until now, 50% of the space was leased to the Swedish industrial packaging company BoxonTech.
The warehouse includes 395 sqm of office space, five loading bays and three rear entrances. The warehouse has a High Risk 8 classification in accordance with the Fire Safety Regulations for Industrial Establishments (RSCIEI).
The asset is located five kilometres from the centre of Vitoria-Gasteiz and has direct access to the Autovía del Norte (A-1) motorway. The building has BREEAM "Very Good" certification and incorporates LED lighting and water and electricity consumption control systems.
Gustavo Cardozo, managing director and partner of Panattoni Iberia, said that the addition of DHL completes the commercialisation of this phase of the project. Luis Domínguez, representing DHL, said that the company will expand its operational capacity in the area with this facility.
