Zetland Capital has completed the sale of the tent Torremolinos and tent Lloret hotels, the two assets remaining in its joint venture with FERGUS Group, following the divestment of the tent Palmanova hotel in 2025. Savills advised the fund on both transactions.
As Iberian Property reported last week, the tent Torremolinos hotel has been acquired by Covivio. The three-star property has 440 rooms and is situated in the town of Torremolinos, in the province of Málaga. Following the transaction, the property will continue to be operated by the FERGUS Group under the tent Hotels brand.
The property has a gross floor area of approximately 22,860 sqm and features a swimming pool and gym. The hotel was acquired in 2021 alongside tent Palmanova and tent Lloret by the joint venture formed between Zetland Capital and FERGUS Group.
The second transaction concerns the tent Lloret hotel, acquired by FERGUS Group. The property, located in Lloret de Mar, is a two-star hotel with 249 rooms and a total floor area of 7,330 sqm. With this sale, Zetland completes the divestment of the remaining assets of the joint venture.
“These two transactions demonstrate the liquidity of the hotel investment market and the commitment of both institutional investors and operators to transformative management models in established tourist destinations”, said Javier Oroz, Director of Hotels Iberia at Savills.
For his part, Mathieu Pinson, partner at Zetland Capital Partners, noted that the transactions mark the completion of the repositioning strategy developed in conjunction with FERGUS Group and highlighted that the hospitality sector remains within the firm’s investment focus in Europe.
FERGUS Group is a Spanish hotel group specialising in the management and repositioning of assets in established tourist destinations. The company operates various concepts, including tent Hotels.
