Silken Hotels has acquired the Silken Platja d’Aro hotel from TQ-MR Family in a deal finalised in March, whilst implementing an investment plan worth over €12 million to renovate and reposition several properties within its network.

The property, built in 2023, has been operated by the chain under a lease agreement since it opened. With this purchase, the company has added to its portfolio a 111-room hotel located in Platja d’Aro, Girona, on the Costa Brava.

The transaction is part of the chain’s strategy to combine management, leasing and ownership of assets.
