The Catalonia Hotels & Resorts chain has opened its eighth establishment in Madrid. Specifically, the company has opened the doors of the four-star Catalonia Plaza España Hotel & Spa. This establishment, located on Gran Vía, has 164 rooms.
The hotel has a 540 square metre wellness and spa area, a rooftop with a swimming pool and two meeting rooms. It also has a restaurant, Pulso by Eboca, and a cafeteria, Aromes.
José Maqueda, director of the Catalonia Plaza España Hotel & Spa, commented that this inauguration ‘welcomes an emblematic establishment in the city that has been completely renovated and converted into a landmark hotel in the destination’. The refurbishment has been carried out ‘following strict sustainability criteria’, he added.
