The Aspasios Group, an international operator specialising in serviced apartments and boutique hospitality, has announced the launch of two new developments in Porto: the Casa Falcão Boutique Hotel and the Aspasios Formosa Apartments. Together, the projects represent a €12.3 million investment, made in partnership with Terrara Têxteis and Âncora Investments.
The Casa Falcão Boutique Hotel, set to open in March 2026, involves the rehabilitation of a historic building on Rua José Falcão, in the city’s Baixa area, close to Avenida dos Aliados. The project preserves the original façade and two sculptural elements symbolising industry and commerce, which have been carefully restored and certified for their heritage value.
Spanning 2,100 sqm, the four-star hotel will feature 36 rooms across various categories (Standard, Deluxe, and Family), with a total capacity for up to 80 guests. The €8 million investment, led by Terrara Têxteis, is expected to create 15 new direct jobs.
Meanwhile, the Aspasios Formosa Apartments, located on Rua Formosa in the São Ildefonso neighbourhood, will open in February 2026. Situated near the Mercado do Bolhão, the project occupies a renovated 1,160 sqm buildingand marks the first phase of the Aspasios Formosa Apartment Collection, which will eventually include three buildings.
This initial development will comprise eight deluxe two-bedroom apartments, each featuring two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living area, accommodating up to six guests. The €4.3 million investment, led by Âncora Investments, will generate five direct jobs.
