The Iberian presence at MIPIM 2024, the world's leading event for real estate professionals, will include an outstanding participation in conferences, with high quality stands and the representation of leading companies in the sector. MIPIM is an essential tool for promoting the territory and attracting international investment due to its more than 21,000 annual attendees. In the last ten years, Iberia has increased its presence at the fair tenfold, now representing 5% of the total number of participants.
With more than 850 professionals from the sector, more than 800 sqm of exhibition space and 380 companies, the Iberian Peninsula will be one of the 5 most represented regions at MIPIM.
Spanish Pavilion
In the heart of the Palais des Festivals (P-1 M50), the stand representing the Spain brand have one of the busiest positions at the fair, allowing for greater visibility of projects and commercial activities. At MIPIM 2024, the Spanish Pavilion will have a total of 160 sqm and will host the participation of more than 70 well-known companies in the Real Estate sector and the attendance of +130 professionals in the fields of investment, promotion, consultancy and Local Authorities. Year after year the public and private market is understanding the importance of MIPIM as the best showcase to present projects and companies in a sector that represents more than 11% of the national GDP.
RocaJunyent and Gesvalt will hold the Spanish Conference "Moving towards to new urban developments and asset types" on Wednesday 13th March at 12:40 in the Geo Focus Stage room. A meeting where the latest changes in urban planning and the development of new types of assets that are focusing the attention of investors will be analysed.
Barcelona Catalonia Stand
For 17 years, Barcelona and Catalonia have been participating in MIPIM with the intention of attracting international investors and fostering collaboration with local companies. Last year, more than 1,000 visitors passed through the stand, making it a major attraction at the fair. At MIPIM 2024, the Barcelona Catalonia project, promoted by the Government of Catalonia through INCASOL, the Barcelona City Council and the Barcelona Metropolitan Area, will have 250 sqm (P-1. K50) to present the territory and the more than 30 companies present.
In addition, the project will also have a conference on 13 March, this time at 15:40 in the Croisette Room under the title "Barcelona Catalonia: The Science & The City".
Madrid Stand
For the past three years, the Madrid City Council and the Community of Madrid have been participating annually in MIPIM to present the key initiatives and projects of the Spanish capital on an international level.
The Madrid stand will have 120 sqm of exclusive space dedicated to promoting development projects in this region. Several conferences will be held for this purpose:
13/03 - Madrid Nuevo Norte, at 10:00h at the Madrid stand.
14/03 - "New urban developments in Madrid", organised by Valdecarros and the Community of Madrid at 10:00 am in the Californie hall.
14/03 - "Madrid Region: The best residential investment destination in Europe - Trinity Project" by ASPRIMA, at 12:10h in Debussy Room.
Lisbon Region Stand
The municipalities of Lisbon, Almada and Vila Franca de Xira have joined forces in a joint project that will also involve 20 private companies. Lisbon is the most economic power and is responsible for almost 40% of Portugal's GDP, and has also been awarded the title of European Capital of Innovation. InvestLisboa has invested in improving the 115 sqm stand (P-1.D50, P-1.E50), creating spaces to inform about the affordable housing projects of the Lisbon City Council and the numerous investment and business opportunities offered by the region.
Greater Porto Stand
The union between the municipalities of Porto, Matosinhos and Vila Nova de Gaia, together with 15 companies, aims to represent a collaborative vision between the public and private sectors. This union shows the region's unwavering commitment to shaping the Metropolitan Area of the future and fostering dynamic and collaborative partnerships on a global scale. Visiting the Greater Porto Stand (P-1.K51, P-1.J54, P-1.J66, P-1.J74) is an opportunity to learn about investments and to attend the networking spaces accompanied by Port wine.
Fundão Stand
The Fundão Region (P-1.J69) will showcase some of the amazing projects it has been developing to attract companies and talent. The ideas that have been so successful now need developers and investors to launch new real estate developments to keep pace with the growing demand.
