According to the result of the monthly indicators presented by the CMVM, relating to real estate investment funds, in March 2022, the value under management of real estate investment funds (FII), special real estate investment funds (FEII) and wealth management funds (FUNGEPI) reached 10,991.9 million euros, 14.1 million euros (0.12%) less than that registered in February.
The amount invested in real estate investment funds decreased by 0.1%, respectively to 8,312.9 million euros. In the FEII, the value decreased by 0.1% to 2,350.3 million euros, while in the FUNGEPI it fell by 0.3% to 328.7 million euros.
In March, European Union countries were the destination of all the investment carried out in real estate assets, with 47.9% of the open-end FII and FEII portfolio being invested in real estate in the service sector. Investments made by FUNGEPI were aimed, especially, at the service sector (48.0%).
It should be noted that Square AM (11.6%), Interfundos (10.7%) and Caixa Gestão de Ativos (8.3%) held the highest market shares.
