Diaphanum enters the real estate sector with the launch of Diaphanum Real Estate, a new entity specialised in the investment, management and divestment of real estate projects. This initiative is part of the group's strategy to diversify its business areas.
The new firm will complement the operations of the Diaphanum Group, which already has Diaphanum Sociedad de Valores, an independent financial advisory firm in Spain, and IronIA Fintech, a platform dedicated to the management of investment funds.
Diaphanum Real Estate will focus its activity on three main lines: advisory and structuring of real estate transactions, investment management and project management. The entity will be led by Borja Ortega and Ignacio Sobrino, two professionals with extensive experience in the sector.
Borja Ortega joins the project after his time at BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he held the position of CEO since November 2020. Prior to that, he accumulated 14 years of experience at JLL, working as head of capital markets and commercial director, as well as collaborating with other leading real estate firms.
Ignacio Sobrino comes from JLL Spain, where he spent more than 16 years, holding positions as national investment director in the office and retail sectors. He has also been responsible for strategic operations in Spain and other international markets. His experience also includes a period as head of business development at Savills, where he worked for more than three years.
With this initiative, Diaphanum strengthens its position in the financial sector, focusing on diversification and the development of new markets.
