During the conference, with the title "Is Spain the New Place to Invest?", contributors will discuss why Spain today represents an opportunity for international investors, and will present the market vision for the next few years from the point of view of the developer.
There will be discussion on this exciting point in time in the development world, and the lack of projects in the Spanish market compared to the strong demand. There will be an emphasis on real estate opportunities in Spain in residential development, development for rentals, tertiary and venture development, alternative assets offices and hotels.
The panellists, all highly professionally skilled in the area, will be:: Sandra Daza, general director de Gesvalt; the economist Daniel Lacalle, investment commissary at ThinkMadrid; Juan Velayos, CEO of Neinor Homes; Javier García del Río, CEO of Solvia; Javier Rodríguez Heredia, general member-director of Azora Europa; Enrique Gracia, director de Merlin Properties and Roger Pla, senior legal advisor of Roca Junyent.
The Spanish Conference, which is organised by Gesvalt for the third year running, “is an opportunity to show the potential and attraction of our country to international investors. MIPIM is a showcase, bringing together the main decision-makers in this field” Sandra Daza, general director of Gesvalt adds.
Spanish Cluster (Spain’s stand at the exhibition) can be found in Riviera 9. This space will bring together the main businesses operating in the Spanish market, including Gesvalt, as well as other institutions and bodies such as the Comunidad de Madrid, ICEX and Sareb.
The programme for the stand aims to convert the area into a networking space for everyone attending the fair. To this end, activities will be organised daily. On Wednesday 15th the 5th edition of "Spanish Wine" will be celebrated and on Thursday 16th cocktails will be served, after the Spanish Conference celebration.
It is hoped that numbers attending MIPIM 2017 will grow compared to last year, when there were a total of 23,500 real estate executives and investors, from 90 different countries. Attendees will find an exhibition space of 19.000 m², as indicated on the official event page.
