On the same note, the company further informed that the sale of this tourist unit, located in Lagos, will be carried out through its participated company Bloco Q, Sociedade Imobiliária, S.A. This operation is in «line with Sonae Capital’s strategy of selling non-core assets, in order to boost the growth of its portfolio and maintain a capital structure suitable for the type of businesses and assets the group owns», it can be read.
The estimated impact this sale will have on Sonae Capital’s equity is approximately 1.9 million euro.
The purchase deed should be signed during the current year, as expected by the company.
Sonae Capital started exploring Aqualuz in 2019, after having purchased Aqualuz – Turismo e Lazer, Lda.
This 4-star unit has 30 studios, 10 standard suites, 129 one-bedroom suites and four family suites. It also features 4 swimming pools, a spa with massage, restaurant, bar, hairdresser and other facilities.
