Savills closed 2019 with a yield of almost €91M

Between January and December last year, the volume of business grew 10.1%, up to 117 million euro. By segments, trade advising operations grew 1.8%, up to 908.4 million euro, whereas income from managing real estate assets grew 16.7%, up to 795.7 million euro.

Furthermore, the income from the consulting activities grew 15%, up to 370.8 million euro, whereas the management of investments was set at 370.8 million euro, a 19% increase.

Savills’ CEO, Mark Ridley, stated that he was happy with the results of 2019 and remarked that these «reflect the strength and resilience of the company’s global business».

On the other hand, Ridley said that Savills will keep monitoring the impact of the world’s uncertainties on demand and the investors. «We had a good beginning of the year in 2020, surpassing during the first two months, last year’s numbers», he pointed out.

Regardless, he remarked that as a result of the Covid-19 virus, it is hard to predict exactly its impact on business for the whole of 2020, although he also pointed out that he expects a greater care from the segment during this year’s second half.
