This conference will bring together international experts and investors, who will have an opportunity to discuss the potential of the REITs regime in Iberia, namely the Spanish SOCIMIs, and the long-awaited implementation of this vehicle in Portugal.
“The REIT Industry in Europe – Lessons for Iberia” is the theme for the first morning debate, featuring the keynote speaker Dominique Moerenhout, CEO, EPRA, and inviting several experts for a round table discussion. After the coffee break, "Real Estate as a major listed investment alternative" will be the theme of the session, which will also have a moment of discussion. "REITs as city transformers!" precedes a networking lunch, with keynote speaker Max Nimmo, Senior Research Analyst at Kempen Securities.
The event will take place at the Hotel Villa Magna in Madrid, which will host guest speakers such as Miguel Ferre, Senior Advisor of EY and one of the responsible for the legislation of SOCIMIs, Criscina Garcia-Peri, general director of Hispania, Carmina Ganyet, General Corporate Director of Colonial, Ismael Clemente, president of Merlin Properties, or José Luis del Valle, president of Lar España.
