According to news from Spanish Real Estate, the property has an area of 11,571 square metres, situated in the Vía Augusta 59, on the corner with la calle Mariano Cubí, next to the plaza Gala Placidia, and is in a privileged spot, in the heart of the business and commercial zone. Constructed in 1968, Mercurio was renovated between 2006 and 2008, having three underground floors for parking, ten floors above ground and a deck, with a communal terrace on the fifth floor.
The Grupo Angelini has been carrying out its real estate activity in Barcelona for more than twenty years. On the 20th December 2013, it acquired the “Casa Heribert Pons” by public auction from the Generalitat de Catalunya. Jorge Ballesté, CEO of the real estate division of the Grupo Angelini, includes this new transaction with the strategy defined by the company, based on the acquisition and rotation of assets.
