He’ll replace Peter Nabney, liable for ING Portugal up to now, who retires after nearly 30-year career in this financial institution.
ING was recently involved in major operations, such as the acquisition of a 122MW wind farm, last March, for €210M, or the refinancing of the Centro Comercial Colombo, last May, for €371M.
Iñigo Churuca says that «we believe that the deep knowledge concerning the local market and his wide experience in the corporate and investment banking, make Paulo the ideal profile to lead our team in Portugal. This is a new level that we are facing from a privileged position, which would not have been possible without the invaluable work from Peter Nabney, to whom we wish all the best».
