The terrain is located within the civil parishes of Oeiras and São Julião da Barra, Paço de Arcos and Caxias, and it has more than 21.000 sqm.
The sale was 40% above the bidding base value of 10 million euro. The name of the buyer was not disclosed.
This public auction was postponed twice. During the first auction, there were no bids, but the bidding base value remained the same. The last date was scheduled for the end of March and was rescheduled for the 16th of June due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The auction «took place at the city hall’s noble hall, in front of the jury nominated for the occasion», mentioned the municipality in a released quoted by Eco.
