According to the newspaper Expansión, MoD aims to collect at least €40M for both plots. This is one of the major divestments made by the Ministry of Defense in the past year and a half.
One of the assets is located in Vicálvaro with 2 plots composed by warehouses with 5.000m2 of surface. The lands have a total buildable area over 19.000m2, and are in the market for an initial price of €14.028M. This asset will be sold at public auction.
The other Alcalá de Henares’ asset will be sold for more than €24 million. With 14.395m2 built, its buildable area reaches 44.755m2.
Both assets expect offers until 29th September. The auctions take place at 4th October.
The same newspaper said that the last major Defense sale was the auction of a land with almost 10,000 square meters of buildable area, located at Parque Central de Ingenieros de Villaverde. The Executive achieved €5.04M with this plot for residential use, borne by the real estate Ebrosa.
