Solvia, a real estate services firm for individuals, companies and investors, has managed the sale of eleven warehouses for industrial and logistical use located in the province of Barcelona, with a total area of more than 12,000 sqm. The assets were acquired by Mileway, the leading pan-European real estate company in last-mile logistics, who was advised by BNP Paribas Real Estate.
One of the warehouses, of a logistics type, is located in L´Ametlla Park, belonging to the municipality of L’Ametlla del Vallès, and has an area of 2,929 sqm. The other ten warehouses are industrial, and they are located in Terrassa, counting with a total surface area of 9,429 sqm.
As indicated by various sources in the sector, this type of real estate asset was one of the most resilient in terms of investment during 2020, especially with regard to last-mile logistics. Looking ahead to 2021, everything points to this attractiveness being maintained thanks to the rise of electronic commerce and the excellent opportunities offered by the market. And, according to the Real Estate Registry Statistics of the College of Registrars, the price of industrial buildings closed 2020 with a decrease of 4%.
