Currently, Merlin has a portfolio with 47 logistic assets, estimated at 800 million euro. When the REIT concludes the 14 projects within this segment it has under way, its portfolio will be worth more than 1.500 million euro, reports newspaper Expansión.
The company’s strategy for this segment includes «reinforcing its leadership in Spain», by consolidating its portfolio in Madrid and Barcelona, revealed the company in its latest report called «Capital Markets Day 2019» which was released last week by the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores.
This choice appears, however, after Merlin’s recent sale of two logistic assets – the warehouse in Granada del Penedès and 2 assets in Barcelona for 26.2 million euro.
