"As a result of the positive situation of the real estate sector motivated by the increasing number of investors looking for additional returns in this low interest rate environment, we expect this new valuation will reflect the greater value of our properties", explains Meliá, highlighting , however, that the total outcome will be "slightly affected by the net effect of the acquisitions and divestitures we have carried out since the last valuation, as well as by the deterioration of the exchange rates in some markets in which we own properties".
