These assets, located in the Basque Country, Cantabria and Castille-Leon, were sold to local investors, advanced in a release consultant Inverpremium which advised the operation.
For Lanca this operation represents a new step forward in «optimising its portfolio so that it can allow it to bet on a new strategy to meet the current circumstances».
Lanca’s new strategy is to bet on profitable supermarkets which generate lower risks and are resilient against the effects of the crisis. Its focus is also on projects or new openings from big brands.
In order to follow this strategy, Lanca will have the support of the same consultant which has, on its portfolio 50 profitable supermarkets located between Madrid and Spain’s Northern region, to market.
