This appointment came about after James Preston decided to step down from the post of Managing Director of Rockspring Iberia to dedicate himself 100% to other professional projects. John Thompson thus becomes leader of a team of five professionals making up the Madrid office, with the job of supervising asset transactions and management for Rockspring in Portugal and Spain.
In the Rockspring team since 2006, one year after the office opened, John Thompson performed, together with James Preston a decisive role in the development and supervision of Iberian business dealings for the British investment society, taking on greater responsibilities in management from 2013, when James Preston began to work on a part time basis
