Javier Inchauspe
Javier Inchauspe has been nominated Scannell Properties’ general manager for Spain. The American development and real estate investment company is specialised in large industrial and logistic projects. Inchauspe has more than 20 years of experience in the Spanish real estate and logistic segments.
The new manager’s goal will be to seek investment opportunities so as to provide Scannell Properties’ clients with sustainable logistic assets in prime locations.
The nomination represents one more step forward for the company in terms of its strategic growth in Europe, where, in the last few months, new professionals were incorporated to open new markets in Germany, France, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Italy.
Established in 1990, Scannell Properties is specialised in developing key-in-hand speculative projects in the United States, Canada and Europe with a total of 7.8 million sqm and more than 360 concluded projects.
After obtaining his degree in Business from Bordeaux’s Graduate School of Business, Inchauspe held several positions of responsibility in real estate companies within the logistic and industrial segments. In 2005, he joined ING Real Estate Development and was charged with analysing industrial projects for the Spanish market. In 2007 he signed for Gazeley, where he worked as the company’s development director. During this period, he secured his training with an Executive Development Programme, conducted by IESE. From Gazeley, he went to Merlin Properties, in 2015, seeking to boost the REIT’s growth.
