Just in December, 87.4 million euros were attracted in this way, a homologous growth of 47%, and of which 77 million were invested in the acquisition of properties, by this means generating 131 visas in the month (four being for urban renewal).
Since its beginning, in October 2012, the Golden Visa programme has already attracted more than 2,567 million euros of foreign capital to Portugal, including an amazing ‘slice’ of 2,315 euros in real estate investment.
Of the 4,202 visas already granted, 3,050 were for Chinese citizens, followed by 247 Brazilians, 148 Russians and 137 South Africans.
