The deal with Realtejo – Hotelaria e Turismo, SA, United Investments Portugal and Fibeira’s subsidiary, has already been signed to create a new 5 star superior hotel with 200 rooms and apartments near such attractions as the Jerónimos Monastery or Lisbon’s Congress Centre. The unit will have a spa, swimming pool, terrace bar and garden aimed at business tourism and leisure.
Nuno Galvão-Pinto, regional vice-president for development at Hyatt, advances in a release that «Lisbon is one of the main cities in Europe in terms of stays and quickly established itself as a privileged destination not only for tourists, but also for conventions and larger events».
