In 2009, Roc Hotels began managing the hotel by means of a management contract with a guaranteed annual minimum rent with Merlin Properties Socimi SA, which had previously bough the hotel portfolio belonging to Metrovacesa. A short time ago, Merlin sold this same portfolio to the French fund Fonciere des Murs.
According to Spanish Real Estate, after this purchase Roc Hotels will manage 23 hotels, of which 11 are owner occupied and 12 are rented, a total of 5,593 bedrooms in new tourist destinations.
