The portfolio of Alua Hotels & Resorts object of the operation brings together more than 1700 rooms in seven hotels spread across the Balearic Islands (AluaSoul Palma, AluaSoul Mallorca Resort, AluaSoul Alcudia Bay, AluaSoul Ibiza and AluaSun Torrenova) and Canarias (Ambar Beach, in Fuerteventura; San Antonio Park, in Tenerife).
Alua Hotels & Resorts will continue to operate the hotels through a lease agreement with a fixed component and a variable one, in line with the rest of the hotels in Hispania. As part of the transaction, Hispania expects to invest around €20 million in reforming four of the seven facilities, given that the other three were already fully repositioned in 2016 and 2017.
