According to Lusa, and based on data from SEF (Portuguese Foreigners and Borders Service), 206 golden visas were issued during this quarter.
In total, in March, 55 golden visas were issued, of which 51 through the acquisition of real estate assets and 4 through the transference of capital. Real estate investment had a total of 25.6 million euro.
Of the 55 visas, 11 were issued to Chinese citizens, 8 to Iranians, 7 to Turks, 4 to Russians and 3 to Brazilians, quoted Observador.
Since the beginning of the golden visa regime, investment has reached a total 5.111 million euro, 4.614 million euro of which concern the purchase of real estate assets.
