Developer GLP leased its 30.000 sqm G-Park Valls (Tarragona) warehouse, in Catalonia, to Aosom.
Aosom is an online store specialised in home and exterior decoration, sports products, health and beauty and more, and has now become GLP’s new client.
The park
G-Park Valls (Tarragona), well located within Barcelona’s third logistic ring and with good transport connections, will be Aosom’s regional distribution centre, so as to facilitate the company’s growing e-commerce supply chain. The site is 25 km away from the port of Tarragona and 90 km away from Barcelona-El Prat Josep Taradellas airport.
«The cutting-edge facilities and the strategic location will allow Aosom to increase its storage capacity, accelerate its logistic process and expand and increase its distribution range», informed the developer.
The logistic centre is fully integrated with its natural surroundings and is certified BREEAM “Very Good”, following GLP’s commitment to develop sustainable areas within its whole European portfolio.
GLP had more than 22.7 million sqm in new leasing and renewal contracts during 2020, which represented a 69% yoy increase in Europe.
