The Lisbon-based operation of the real estate platform focused on investment management and asset management was opened in 2016. With four local employees this represents a further expansion of CR’s pan-European footprint.
The local team has an average of 15 years of industry experience and is headed by Carla André.
According to CR, «the rating validates the competence of the local team and reflects Fitch’s assessment of the Portuguese operation’s ability to service commercial real estate loans thereby enhancing CR’s overall capabilities across various principal and advisory strategies in the Iberian market».
Key drivers for the rating have been the Consistent Financial Performance, Good Special Servicing and Experienced Senior Management.
