This new hotel will be located on Avenida de la Constitución, near the Plaza Nueva in Seville, a privileged central area in one of the main shopping areas of the Andalusian city.
Through the agreement with Drago, AC Hotels by Marriott will be responsible for the management of the hotel that will occupy 6 of the 8 floors of the building. The new Autograph hotel will have 95 rooms. The building is being renewed to adapt to Marriott's project and standards, and is expected to be ready for opening in 2018. The project includes a total investment of €35 million and the creation of at least 56 direct jobs.
The project expected for the building acquired by Drago with a private investor last year includes, in addition to the hotel, a large shopping area on the ground floor and the mezzanine that will occupy approximately 1,800 m2 of gross leasable area (GLA) of the 8,300 m2. The commercialization of these places is the responsibility of CBRE in Seville.
