This is, according to Eje Prime, the largest real estate project in the Spanish capital. It will be developed in 2.3 million sqm terrain where 10.500 new dwellings will be built, 20% of which will have social protection. Office buildings, commercial and public spaces will also be built.
Despite the project being originally from 1991, the construction works haven’t started yet. According to the same newspaper, the Municipality of Madrid should approve it at its next municipal plenary session.
