BPI fund buys office floor in Lisbon

Imofomento, BPI's real estate investment fund, bought the 16th floor of Torre 2 das Amoreiras at the end of December from the Laje Capital group, for about 6.7 million euros, according to the portuguese newspaper Negócios.

The floor in question has an area of ​​1,366 sqm and currently has Laje Capital, Plen Sociedade de Advogados and Biz Group as tenants.

Also in December, Imofomento purchased the Picoas Plaza shopping center in Lisbon for 15 million euros and an office building on Avenida da Boavista, in Porto, for 1.07 million euros. He also acquired the rights to a vacant building on Rua dos Bacalhoeiros, in Lisbon, for 2 million euros.

Among the most recent purchases of 2020 is also the acquisition of the aparthotel Aqualuz Suite Hotels, in Lagos, from Sonae Capital, for about 20 million euros.

The Laje Capital group has an asset portfolio of 500 million euros, comprising several properties and assets in the renewable energy sector. Last year, he created the Addrezza brand for the real estate business, which manages projects such as Amoreiras Residence, Amoreiras Vista, i53 Carcavelos or Sublime Comporta Villas.
